Police release identity of pedestrian struck on bridge
Michael Amick, 38, of Louisville, was walking southbound on the sidewalk on the east side of the bridge. Detective Todd Hollis said Amick collided with a bicyclist headed in the opposite direction on the sidewalk. Amick fell into the roadway and was struck by a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Police were called to the scene at 6:17 p.m. and found Amick with serious head wounds.

UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal I-65 crash
Derrick W. Fondern, 32, of Thompson Lane in Louisville, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
